EMPLOYMENT
This category includes mayor's policies, administrative procedures, executive orders, and local statutes that encompass various conditions of employment ranging from probationary status to employee performance evaluations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This category includes Compensation and Benefits policies, which address voting and attending political party conventions during work hours; exempt employees and the use of compensatory time off for overtime worked; the City's compensation/pay program; pay for years of service (longevity); pay for performance (PPZ program); bilingual pay; floating holidays; and holidays.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
This category encompasses policies that explain disciplinary procedures, personal conduct at the workplace, employee attendance and resignation/termination.

MISCELLANEOUS
This category presents a diverse group of Administrative Procedures and Executive Orders that deals with solicitation, employee suggestion, smoking, alcohol and controlled substance testing, security on city premises, etc. Other policies and orders included are: workability guidelines, information technology security, motor vehicle assignment and use, establishment of office of inspector general etc.
