The eGovernment Center was launched in March 2001 with a wealth of information for citizens, business, and visitors. The City of Houston was honored with numerous awards for the eGovernment Center's content, frequency of updates, links to related and helpful information such as county and state information, interactivity, appeal, design, and search capability.
