Soaring 81 feet to the grid, the stage area is 120 feet wide and 55 feet deep. Deeper stage effects can be obtained by raising the orchestra pit. The proscenium opening is nearly 32 feet tall and 60 feet wide and this may be brought down to smaller sizes. The 63-ton symphony shell easily stores flush against backstage walls. Additional requirements such as dressing rooms, loading dock, freight elevator and lighting equipment are nearby.
