JONES PLAZA LINEUP INCLUDES RETURN OF TEJANO, LATIN MUSIC April 14, 2003 -- Fans of live music will find Jones Plaza the popular place to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night this spring in the heart of Houston's downtown Theater District. The Ultimate Tejano Party (formerly Tejano Night) kicks off on Tuesday, April 15, with Tejano star Jay Perez taking the stage at Jones Plaza. Latin Breed is the opening act. Party on the Plaza Texas Style moves into its third week Thursday night with the Austin-based alternative country band Reckless Kelly performing. Mickey and the Motorcars is the opening act. Admission is free for the urban party, which begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 10. Persons under age 21 are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult. Jones Plaza, located at 615 Louisiana, is a public venue owned by the City of Houston.
