August 31, 2004 -- Jamie Rootes, Sr. Vice President of the Houston Texans,
and cheerleaders presented Mayor White with a No. 1 Texans
jersey signifying his role as Honorary Team Captain for the
season. Mayor White also presented them with a proclamation
declaring Houston Texans Week.
