The match takes place at RFK Stadium, in Washington , D. C. The game starts at 11:00 a.m. Houston time, Sunday November 18th, 2007.
Mayor Menino will offer up 10 Boston Créme Pies, from Mike's Pastry. Mayor White will wager 10 Texas Pecan Pies from Goode Co.
"I have no doubt that the New England Revolution will defeat the Houston Dynamo this weekend," Mayor Menino said. "With full confidence in the Revolution, I am offering Mayor White and his city some of Boston 's finest baked goods."
"Those pies were so delicious last year, we thought it made perfect sense to stay with the same bet," said Mayor Bill White. "The only sweeter things are Texas Pecan Pie and victory for the Houston Dynamo."
Last years goods were delivered to the Star of Hope Mission, courtesy of a Houston Dynamo victory.
