Houston Dynamo, City of Houston Encourage Fans to Wear Orange Tomorrow for “Dynamo Day”
Wear orange to work tomorrow ahead of Dynamo’s first home playoff game at BBVA Compass Stadium



November 1, 2012 -- Mayor Annise Parker and the Houston Dynamo have declared tomorrow “Dynamo Day.” Houstonians are encouraged to wear Dynamo Orange or their Dynamo gearon Friday in advance of the Dynamo’s Eastern Conference semifinal home game against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, the first home playoff game at BBVA Compass Stadium.


The city and the club are hoping for an “Orange Friday” across Houston to set the tone for an exciting home game at the Dynamo’s new downtown home. On Sunday, fans can get ready for the game at Orange Avenue, the official Dynamo pregame area, with live music, games, drinks and food. Orange Avenue is located at the intersection of Rusk. St. and St. Emanuel St. near the southwest corner of BBVA Compass Stadium. Orange Avenue is free to the public and will open at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.


The Dynamo will host Sporting Kansas City in the first leg of the Eastern Conference semifinals, presented by Kroger, at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sunday at BBVA Compass Stadium.
