Prestige of Property: The Mayor’s Holiday Celebration, is a long standing tradition with live entertainment, festivities, fireworks, and the lighting of the official tree.

Recognizability / Awareness 2010: Nearly $600,000 in measured media value to promote the event.

Category Exclusivity: Sponsor receives exclusivity regarding promotion of brand on-site at the event, specific to its business category.

Level of Audience Interest / Loyalty: 10,000 on-site. Full complement of media with television, radio, print, web and social media.

Ability to Activate: Sponsor can conduct third-party promotions with approved retailers. Use of VIP hospitality area(s) for client entertainment commensurate with sponsor level. Promotional timeframe of one month prior to the event and day of event.

Sponsor Exclusivity: The Mayor’s Office of Special Events values our sponsors and relationships. Sponsors are limited and are category exclusive.

Protection of Property: Mayor’s Office of Special Events controls tickets, signage and on-site activity at the event.

Networking Opportunities: 2011 Sponsors include Presenting Title - Reliant.

Media Coverage Potential: The event offers a 10-day television schedule and makes every attempt to secure major radio and print media partners.

There is extensive dedication to working with sponsors and collaborating with media to deliver a high quality interactive marketing experience while ensuring a spectacular event for on-site attendees and television viewing audience. Beneficiary: The Mayor’s Office of Special Events produces and permits events within Mayor Parker’s civic celebration program that enhances Houston’s community spirit and rich cultural diversity. Proceeds benefit Houston Park Board, a Texas 501 (c) (3) non-profit. Sponsorship is tax-deductible.
