Adopt-A-Monument

To give citizens and civic, professional, and business groups the opportunity to participate in the preservation of our cultural heritage in public art, we developed Houston's Adopt-A-Monument Program in 1996. A sponsor, whether an organization or an individual, may support the Houston Adopt-A-Monument Program in one of two methods:

• Adopt artwork by contractually agreeing to underwrite conservation and or maintenance of a specific artwork.
• Contribute to the Adopt-A-Monument Program general fund for unadopted artworks.
