Department of Neighborhoods Invites Houstonians to Celebrate
"ReelAbilities” February 14-18
Free film and arts festival spotlights the lives, stories and talents of people with disabilities
January 27, 2016 -- Houstonians are invited to the fourth annual ReelAbilities: Houston Film & Arts Festival, a free citywide event that promotes inclusion and celebrates the lives, stories and talents of people with disabilities, February 14-18, 2016, at the Edwards Greenway Grand Palace Stadium 24. The fest will feature 15 exciting films, screenings at schools and George Bush International Airport and an art exhibit. A pre-fest event on February 11 will feature extraordinary speakers from around the world. Admission and parking is free and open to the public for evening screenings and new matinee films. ReelAbilities Houston is hosted by the JFS Alexander Institute for Inclusion in collaboration with the City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities and lead sponsors, the Bristow Group, TIRR Memorial Hermann and Milestone Aviation.
