May 7, 2013 -- The Mayor’s Citizens’ Assistance Office, a division of the Department of Neighborhoods, announces Free Document Shredding & ID Theft Prevention services for City of Houston residents who live in Ft. Bend County, commonly known as Fort Bend Houston. Sponsored in partnership with the Houston Police Department and Data Shredding Services, Inc., the event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 8 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Stimley-Blue Ridge Neighborhood Library, 7007 W. Fuqua, Houston 77489. The free, secure document shredding services are intended for individual residents who reside in zip codes 77489, 77045, 77085 and 77053. The services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are for paper material only.
