Eligibility:
Open to all teams who registered for Spring I & II, and Summer.
Tournament Format:
Double Elimination
Divisions Offered:
Men's Open B/C/D and Coed C/D.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the first place team from each division.
Field Locations:
All games will be held at Memorial Park Fields #2, #3, #4, #5 and Tim Hearn Field (Cleveland Park).
Game Times:
9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Teams entering playoffs must be prepared to play at any of the locations and times specified above).
Registration Procedures and Dates:
Eligible teams can register between August 09 - 29, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Adult Sports Office, 6402 Market Street, Houston, TX 77020.
Entry Fees:
$110 per team (S/P). Sorry, no personal checks will be accepted. Only cash, credit card, company check or money order payable to City of Houston will be accepted.
Texas Amateur Athletics Federation (TAAF) State Tournament:
Division Champions can advance to the TAAF State Softball Tournament. For more information on this tournament, go to: www.taaf.com.
All interested teams in participating in the TAAF State Softball Tournament must complete a TAAF Softball Team Registration Form and submit a $10.00 fee to the Adult Sports Office by August 29, 2008. Checks should be made payable to TAAF. You can find a TAAF Softball Registration Form in the Softball Rule Book (issued at registration), or you stop by the Adult Sports Office.
