Focus Areas
Championship Park (Harris County Flood Control District property) and Wood Street Park (UHD property) along White Oak Bayou
Johnny Goyen Park (HPARD property) along Buffalo Bayou
These parks were ideal for the Birds on the Bayou project due to existing infrastructure such as landscaping, sidewalks, tables, trash cans and lighting. These sites are slated to be developed further sometime in the near future.
