The gardens cover 6 acres of land and include the All-American Rose Selection test garden, the Bulb Garden, the Fragrant Garden, the Perennial Garden, the Camellia Garden, the Friendship Pavilion and the early stages of the International Garden.
Every year the Garden Center , serves as a backdrop for weddings, private functions, plant shows and various garden club meetings. Below is a listing of the various horticultural organizations that meet at the Houston Garden Center throughout the year.
