Lady Bird Johnson Tribute Wildflower Planting Project
One of Houston’s most popular volunteer events, the 5th Annual Lady Bird Johnson Tribute Wildflower Planting took place at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2011.
Planting sites were:
West Orem Esplanades: Parking and volunteer registration at The Crossing Community Church, 3225 West Orem, Houston, TX 77045
Mason Park: Parking and volunteer registration at 541 South 75th Street, Houston, TX 77023
Sylvan Rodriguez Park: Parking and volunteer registration at 1201 Clear Lake City Blvd, Houston, TX 77062
Hwy 90/Herman Brown Park: Parking and volunteer registration at 400 Mercury Drive, Houston, TX (the corner of Mercury and Oates Road)
The hard work of the volunteers will result in fantastic blooms come springtime, and we appreciate their efforts!
