Water Fitness

The Houston Parks and Recreation Department Water Fitness Program promotes the importance of staying fit and healthy. Three levels of classes will give you the opportunity to stay active and fit and to socialize with other adults in the cool water. Water fitness classes consist of general exercise in the shallow end of the pool or more strenuous deep-water activity.

All enrollments are filled on a “first come, first served” basis. Register online at https://apm.activecommunities.com/houstonparks/Home or at the pool site. Classes are limited to a maximum of 20 participants per class at most pool sites. Aqua shoes, a towel, and a plastic bottle of water are recommended.
