On Wednesday June 28, 2006 Lyondell Chemical Co. along with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department dedicated the Bat Observation Deck near the Waugh Drive Bridge. The Waugh Drive Bridge is home to over 250,000 bats that emerge from underneath the structure at dusk to hunt for food. It is truly a spectacular sight!
