Houston City Mobility Planning (CMP) is an important initiative to analyze
local mobility and to enhance growth of the Greater Houston Region.
It is a vital
planning effort to envision transportation system infrastructure for Houston.
Community values and priorities identified through HGAC's Envision Houston Region and Blueprint Houston's citizens conference processes will serve as the basis.
CMP will become the primary tool for evaluating the City’s transportation system infrastructure.
The City’s intent is to use this tool to evaluate individual projects for their mobility benefits and downstream impact.
The CMP tool will enable conceptual layout of transportation improvements of on up-to-date population and land use data as well as the modeling of development impacts.
