A consultant team led by Webb Architects, in collaboration with the City of Houston Planning & Development Department, Avenue CDC, Council Member Vasquez, and a Steering Committee has developed an Economic Revitalization Plan for the community. This Plan identifies the opportunities for the economic growth and laid out a course of action for the future, reflecting the ideas and input of residents, businesses, civic clubs, and other community organizations within the Northside Village area.

The consultant team has worked with community members to develop a plan based on community assets and needs, development opportunities, and a vision for the Near Northside community. This plan has set out strategies for neighborhood revitalization and laid out a plan for turning the community’s vision of what it can become, into reality. A plan for landscaping improvements along the Fulton corridor has been developed with neighborhood input.
