East Little York/Homestead is named after the two major thoroughfares which divide the community in quarters. The neighborhoods included in this North Forest ISD community include Fontaine Place, Scenic Woods, Northwood Manor, and the recently annexed Riverwoods Estates. These wooded subdivisions consist of modest single family homes built in the 1950s and 1960s. The newest subdivisions, like Riverwoods Estates have more recent construction and larger homes. There is very little in the way of commercial or industrial development.
