Beginning at the intersection of
Genoa Red Bluff and State Highway 3, go east along the city limits
that follows Genoa Red Bluff. Approximately four miles east, the
city limits turn south. At this intersection, the boundaryfor
12D40 cuts through the open space in a straight line to Ellington
Air Force Base. It continues southwest along the property line
of Ellington Air Force Base, turns south and then east along the
property line of Ellington Air Forece Base to Highway 3. At the
intersection of Highway 3 to F.M. 2351. State Highway 3 is the
responsibility of 12D40. The beat boundary turns southwest along
F.M. 2351 to the Gulf Freeway. F.M. 2351 is the responsbility
of 12D60. The beat boundary follows the city limits northwest
along the Gulf Freeway approximately one mile as which point the
city limits separate and vere west of the Gulf Freeway. The boundary
follows the city limits west and southwest to Beamer Road. It
turns northwest and follows the city limits along Beamer Road.
It turns off Beamer Road and follows the city limits northeast,
north, east, and northwest to Sagedowne. The boundary turns northeast
along Sagedown to the Gulf Freeway. It then goes southeast on
the Gulf Freeway to Scarsdale Boulevard. This segment of the Gulf
Freeway is the responsiblity of 12D40. The beat Boundary turns
northeast along Scardsdale Boulevard to State Highway 3. Scardale
is the responsiblity of 12D30's beat. The beat boundary turns
northwest along State Highway 3 and returns to the intersection
of State Highway 3 and Genoa Red Bluff. State Highway 3 is the
responsibility of 12D40.
