Crime Statistics for 6B40's Beat

Beat Description and Boundary:

The beat boundary begins at the corner of the Houston City Limits about at the inersection of Ella Boulevard and West Mount Houston Road and follows the city limits east along West Mt Houston Road. Just before the intersection of West Mt Houston and Sunnywood, the boundar follows the city limits as they turn north along the lot lines behind the cul de sacs of Lyngrove and Frazer Lane. It turns east on Mimosa to Sunnywood, and turns north at Sunnywood to Blue Bell. At Blue Bell, the city limits turn east to I-45 and goes north on I-45. The beat boundary follows the city limits to West Raod. At West Road, the city limits continue north while the beat boundary turns east on West Road and goes to where the city limits follows Sweetwater south. West Road is the responsibility of 6B50. It turns south on Sweetwater goes to the intersection of Sweetwater, West Canino, and I-45. The city limits turn east on West Canino, while the beat boundary continues south on I-45 to West Little York. I-45 is the responsibility of 6B40. It goes west on West Little York to DePriest. West Little York is the responsibility of 6B40. It goes north on DePriest to North Victory. It turns west on North Victory to Wheatley, south on Wheatley, and then contues west on West Little York. DePriest, North Victory, and Wheatley are the responsibility of 6B40. The boundary follows West Little York to Carver, turns south on Carver, west on Areba, and north on Nuben to West Little York. Carver, Areba and Nuben are the responsiblity of 6B20's beat. The boundary goes east on West Little York to Duboise. It turns north on Duboise to South Victory Drive. Duboise and South Victory are the responsibility of 6B40. It turns west to Lincoln Drive where it follows the west lot lines north to Haynes. It turns west along the south lot lines of Rigel and goes to Scenic Green and follows the east lot lines of Scenic Green to Vega. It follows the south lot lines of Vega to Haynes. Haynes stops at Vega, but the boundary continues in a straight line across an open speace to the south lot lines of Stalling. It turns west along these lot lines to where they city limits turn north around Paradies Cemetery (annexed in 1984.) It follows the city limits east along Hampton. Just south of the intersection of Gulf Bank and Ella Boulevard, the city limits turn north along the east side of Ella Boulevard and go almost to the intersection of Ella Boulevard and West Mt Houston. The beat boundary follows the city limits to this point where it begins.
