Filing Charges and Court Follow-up
Sexual Assault / Family Violence - Abuse

LAW ENFORCEMENT is responsible for filing all sexual assault/family violence-abuse charges. Charges are filed with the District Attorney's Office in the Law Enforcement Intake Section. The Law Enforcement Intake Section is open 24 hours a day.

COMMUNITY SERVICES SECTION provides legal assistance to the public. The District Attorney's Office provides the public with the right to have a complaint reviewed by a prosecutor.
