The Houston Police Department Crime Prevention Program is staffed by officers who are trained in all phases of proactive crime prevention.

In keeping with the department's philosophy, it has become evident that the police department and the citizens of Houston must work together as a team to enhance the quality of life, reduce fear, and provide for a safe environment.

Presentations offer recommendations on implementing crime prevention techniques to reduce your chances of becoming a crime victim.

Sexual Assault Prevention: Titled "Be Aware," addresses various theories and methods of sexual assault prevention.
