Missing adults (18 years of age or older)
must be reported in person at the Southeast Police Station,
8300 Mykawa Road, Houston, Texas.
Missing juveniles (17 years of age or
younger) may be reported by calling HPD Juvenile Division
at 713-731-5223.
The reportee must then proceed to a
police station or storefront to sign a medical/dental
information release and have a TRAK flyer prepared.
Missing persons who are elderly, mentally
or physically challenged, may be reported by calling HPD
Juvenile Division at 713-731-5223.
There is NO 24-hour waiting period required
to report a person as missing.
It is important to bring a photograph
of the missing person to a TRAK equipped police station
so a TRAK flyer can be made and electronically distributed
throughout the Houston area.
