Incident at 12211 White Cap

June 3, 2005 -- Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman at 12211 White Cap Lane about 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday (June 1).

Terry Demon McClintock Jr. (b/m, DOB 12-12-83) is charged with murder in the 337th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Danielle Nicole Bonner, 31.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Hernandez and Officer X. Avila reported:

Officers responded to a shooting and found the female victim inside her home. She was shot in the face and pronounced dead at the scene.

During the scene investigation it was learned the victim's boyfriend (McClintock) was outside the house with his new girlfriend. Neighbors said they heard the victim, her boyfriend and the new girlfriend arguing outside the house. After the victim and her boyfriend went inside the home, a single gunshot was heard.

The suspect initially stated the victim shot herself. An autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office disproved that version. The suspect later admitted the gun went off as he and the victim struggled with each other.
