Incident at 3400 Berry

March 14, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 3400 Berry Road about 2 a.m. today (March 14).

The victim has been identified as Renah Lynn Robinson, 30, of 1718 Berry. She suffered a gunshot wound to the back and later died at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Officer J. C. Bonaby reported:

Houston police responded to the location when witnesses overheard gunshots. Robinson was found with a gunshot wound to the back. At the scene, she initially refused to provide any details to officers regarding the shooting. Robinson was transported to the hospital in serious, but stable condition and later died from her injuries.

A witness observed an unknown suspect drive away in a dark colored 1994 to 1997 Trophy truck.
