Traffic Incident at 300 West Gray

March 23, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 300 West Gray, today (March 24) about 3 a.m.

The identity on the male victims is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Traffic Division Sergeant R. Schweiker and Officer R. Stafford reported:

A vehicle was traveling westbound on West Gray at a high rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle lost control and collided with a tree on the north side of the road. The driver and the passenger, both black males in their twenties, were pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle had been reported stolen in an aggravated robbery case on March 20, 2005.
