Incident at 1100 Hwy 6 South

May 15, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1100 Hwy 6 South about 7 p.m. on Saturday (May 14).

The deceased victim has not been identified. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

HPD Homicide Division Officer I.F. Flores reported:

The victim was located on the south side of the embankment with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the head. A pistol was found next to the victim's body. He did not have any identification on him.
