Incident at 4411 Fulton

May 30, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4411 Fulton about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2005.

The deceased victim has been identified as Santiago Sandoval of 4411 Fulton #62. He suffered a gunshot wound to the left side and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer P.J. Guerrero reported:

Sandoval and a friend came home from a club. They had a conversation with two girls who live at the complex. Words were exchanged between Sandoval's friend and one male from a group of about ten males that was standing nearby. The male took out a shotgun from his apartment and confronted Sandoval's friend. The male was calmed down and he put the shotgun away. Sandoval continued to argue with another male from the group. Everyone jumped on Sandoval and his friend. As Sandoval's friend was knocked to the ground, he heard a gunshot. The males left running South out of the complex.

The suspects are all in their early to mid teens.
