Incident at 7600 Tidwell

May 31, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 7600 Tidwell about 1:30 a.m. today (May 31).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He suffered a severe laceration to the throat and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants L. Flores, C. Howard and M. McStravick reported:

The victim was on the pedestrian walkway of a bridge over the railroad tracks when he was severely cut along his throat. There are no known suspects in this case.

The investigation is continuing.
