Traffic Incident at 14400 White Heather

November 7, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 14400 block of White Heather about 4 a.m. today (Nov. 7).

The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld pending notification to family members.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer S. Martinez reported:

The driver of a Ford pickup truck was traveling south on White Heather when the truck left the roadway and crashed through a guardrail on a bridge over Sims Bayou. The truck came to a sudden stop on its roof, just outside the water along the banks of the bayou. A passenger in the truck was killed and the driver was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
