Incident at 4500 Pickfair

November 25, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 4500 block of Pickfair at about 1:25 p.m. on November 24, 2005.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Gonzalez and Officer R. A. Moreno reported:

The victim was hanging out with unknown males in the 4500 block of Pickfair. Neighbors reported hearing a gunshot and then found the victim lying on the ground. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene. The motive remains unknown and no suspects have been identified.
