Traffic Incident at 2700 Hillcroft

September 16, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2700 Hillcroft about 12:10 p.m. today (Sept. 16).

The victim's identity is unknown at this time.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant L. A. Washington and Officer S. K. Salley reported:

A vehicle, driven by a 23-year-old woman, was exiting a parking lot south onto Hillcroft when she struck the victim. The victim was trapped under the vehicle for approximately 100 feet and pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed at this time.
