Incident at 6601 Dunlap

August 29, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6601 Dunlap about 12:45 a.m. today (August 29).

The victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family members, died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officer T.A. Andrade reported:

Officers responded to a person down call at an apartment complex and found the victim in the hallway of one of the buildings of the complex. Paramedics arrived and determined the victim had been dead for a few hours.

There are no known witnesses or motive at this time.
