Incident at 7930 Corporate #220

February 22, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7930 Corporate #220 between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 21).

The victim is identified as Darvell James, 21, of 7930 Corporate #220. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.K. Peters and Officer A.J. Palos reported:

Mr. James was last seen inside of an apartment he shared with his girlfriend about 12:30 p.m. on Monday. When she returned home later in the day, she allowed a friend to use the restroom in her apartment while she remained outside talking to another acquaintance. As the friend entered the apartment, she discovered James' body.
