Traffic Incident at 1900 West Loop South Service Road

February 26, 2006 -- Charges have been filed against a driver involved in the fatal accident that occurred at 1900 West Loop South service road (southbound) on February 26, 2006 about 1:40 a.m.

The driver faces intoxication manslaughter charges, although he was not at fault in the accident.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer S. Bolton reported:

A vehicle was traveling southbound on the service road when it struck and killed a pedestrian who was in the roadway.
