Incident at 5500 De Soto #2515

January 5, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5500 De Soto about 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 4).

The victim, Quentin Williams, 19, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Harris and Officer T. McCorvey reported:

Williams lived in apartment #2512. During the course of a welfare check, he was found on the living room floor with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
