Photo of Sexual Assault Suspect Released

January 17, 2006 -- Investigators with the Houston Police Department Juvenile Division are seeking the public's assistance in identifying other possible victims of a suspect wanted in a sexual at 7525 Tidwell about 4 p.m. on October 25, 2005

The suspect is identified as Reginald Ray Piper (b/m, DOB: 9/27/78). He was arrested on unrelated charges and has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child in the 182nd State District Court.

HPD Juvenile Division Sergeant R.L. Upton of the Sex Crimes Unit reported:

A 14-year-old student made an outcry of sexual assault by a school janitor (Piper). She stated she was forced into a janitor's closet by Piper and sexually assaulted. Piper made verbal threats to the victim to keep the assault quiet. The victim made an outcry to her father on Christmas day after hearing a powerful sermon from her preacher.
