Incident at 6900 Annunciation

June 21, 2006 --Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 6900 Annunciation about 10 a.m. on Tuesday (June 20).

The identity of the male victim and the cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Scott and Officer C. Scales reported:

Public Works Department employees found a vehicle parked at the dead end of Annunciation. Upon closer inspection, the workers observed a male inside the vehicle. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him dead.
