Incident at 8300 Sunnyhill

June 25, 2006 -- Houston Police homicide detectives are investigating the death of a female victim whose body was located at 8300 Sunnyhill on June 24, 2006.

Homicide investigators S. Kennedy and I. Flores report:

On June 24, 2006, at approximately 3:30 p.m., citizens notified the Houston Police Department after finding the nude body of a female victim in a wooded area at 8300 Sunnyhill. The victim was badly decomposed and neither the cause of death nor her race can be determined at this time.

The body has been taken to the Harris County Medical Examiner's office where an autopsy will be performed in an attempt to determine the cause of death and the female's identity.
