Incident at 5500 Rosslyn

June 28, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5500 Rosslyn about 1:30 a.m. on Monday (June 27).

The victim, Gerald Hilton, 33, of 6101 Antoine #5224, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B.C. McDaniel and Officer D.L. Robertson reported:

Residents near the 5500 block of Rossyln reported hearing a series of gunshots about 1:30 a.m. About 6:20 a.m., a resident went outside to remove trash from his lawn when he saw the body of an unknown male lying near the roadway with apparent multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

There are no witnesses or a motive at this time.
