Incident at 189 Casa Grande

November 3, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 189 Casa Grande about 3:30 a.m. today (November 3).

The identity of the victim, 21, is being withheld pending notification to family members. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Booth and Officer R. Swainson reported:

Residents of the 'Casa Grande' Townhomes heard several gunshots in the area around 3:30 a.m. The victim's body was later found by one of his associates in the outdoor air conditioner/trash storage area of unit #189.

There are no known witnesses or motive in the killing.
