Incident at 5655 De Soto

September 1, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5655 De Soto about 1:20 a.m. today (Sept. 1).

The identity of the victim, 25, is being withheld pending notification to family members.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Harris and Officer T. McCorvey reported:

The victim was found dead on the parking lot of the apartment complex at 5655 De Soto. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time.
