Incident at 11500 Keegans Ridge

September 19, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11500 Keegans Ridge about 11 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 18).

The victim is identified as Gregory Allen Johnson Jr., 29, of 11500 Keegans Ridge #1140. He suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer T.A. Andrade reported:

Officers were originally called to a shooting at 10600 West Bellfort and determined the correct address was 11500 Keegans Ridge. Paramedics were called and transported the victim to the hospital.

At this time, it is unknown what prompted the shooting. The suspects were described only as four black males driving in a dark colored sports utility vehicle.
