Incident at 90 Northpoint Drive

April 10, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 90 Northpoint Drive #901 about 2 p.m. on Monday (Apr. 9).

The victims were identified as Clyde York, 49, and John Henry, 47. Both suffered a gunshot wound and were pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.P. Booth and Officer A.D. Brown reported:

Mr. Henry visited Mr.York’s apartment on Friday night (Apr.6) or early Saturday morning. When Henry did not return home on Saturday, family members went to York’s apartment (#901) and knocked, but received no answer. There was still no sign of Henry on Monday (Apr.9) so his family returned to apartment #901 and found it unlocked. Upon entering, the bodies of both victims were found. There was no forced entry, but there was evidence of drug use in the apartment. Both victims had money and property in their possessions. There are no suspects and the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
