Traffic Incident at 10700 Kempwood August 5, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 10700 Kempwood about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday (August 4). The victim, David Morgan, 41, of 2803 Quincannon, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant S. A. Perez and Officer R. Davidson reported: Witnesses stated Mr. Morgan apparently escaped from a halfway house on Quincannon, where he was a patient, and darted into traffic on Kempwood. Morgan was struck in the roadway and pinned to a tree by a Toyota mini-van traveling west on Kempwood. No charges will be filed at this time.
