Incident at 9200 Westpark August 7, 2007 - Houston police have arrested one suspect and are seeking others possibly involved in the shooting of a man at 9200 Westpark about 7:20 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 5). The suspect, Alex Alvarado (H/m, DOB 6-15-90), is charged with aggravated assault - serious bodily injury in the 351st State District Court. He is accused in the shooting of Isidro Parra, 17. Parra suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Officer S. Anderson reported: Officers responded to a shooting call at 3600 Jeanetta where the victim was located. He was driven to that location after being wounded inside a vehicle at 9200 Westpark. Alvarado was taken into custody at the Jeanetta address without incident. The motive for the shooting has not been determined at this time.
