Update on Incident at 10301 Sandpiper August 9, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man at 10301 Sandpiper about 11:55 p.m. on Monday The victim, Quintin Jack, 23, of 10301 Sandpiper #106, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, Jason Arnell Ferguson (b/m, DOB: 7/11/83), is charged with murder in the 176th State District court. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Gonzales and Officer R. Chappell reported: Jack and Ferguson had an argument over owed money. Ferguson pulled a pistol and shot Jack one time in the head. Ferguson left the scene. Investigators developed leads that led to the arrest of Ferguson and he subsequently confessed to the killing.
