Traffic Incident at 14700 South Main August 13, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident in the 14700 block of South Main about 11:10 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 11). The name of the deceased male pedestrian is being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer J. Vera reported: A male pedestrian attempted to cross the street in the 14700 block of South Main when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. Witnesses said the vehicle appeared to be a Yellow Cab minivan that fled the scene.
